An image of the face of Jesus has been discovered on the side of a drainpipe.
The likeness was spied outside a house in Coventry belonging to Alex Cotton, 38, and her partner.
Alex's friend Graham Morriss, 33, told the Coventry Telegraph: "We were just sitting around, having a good old chinwag at about 10pm and suddenly Alex's partner Nick said: 'there's Jesus on the drainpipe'.
"No one believed her and we all started crouching down around the drainpipe and having a look. I got quite excited anyway.
"We're all quite amazed about it really, although Alex says he's been there for quite some time."
Whether or not you trust the plausibility of this ostensibly divine encounter, sightings of Jesus or the Virgin Mary frequently make the headlines.
